What is your topic?

My topic is photography, to narrow it down I want to focus on  non-traditional portrait photography.

Why did you choose this topic?

I choose this topic for I love photography and close up picture of peoples faces, but also with non-traditional portraits, cool lighting is used to bring out the flaws of peoples faces.  So when I see a picture like that, I feel like the photo can really speak for itself rather than having someone explain what it is.

What do you hope to accomplish after studying this topic all year?

I hope this year I can accomplish being a better photographer and create a portfolio for myself and giving myself a name in the photography world, even if I am barley known. Also with learning different lighting techniques, I hope I  can bring that into what I want to do as a living which is stage designing.
